Young artists explore three-dimensional art through sculpture, construction, and mixed media over six weeks. Kids will work with diverse materials, including paper mache, wire, found objects, and yarns, to create original sculptural pieces. We’ll explore form and space, play with combining materials in creative ways, and learn techniques for construction. Great for kids who love to build, construct, and see their ideas come to life.
Class is limited to 12.

Come hang out and make art at the Phipps art studio, a place for connections and creativity! Teens are welcome to either join a planned project each week exploring new mediums, techniques and ideas or work on their own projects with support from our teaching artist. Experiment with new materials available in the studio or bring your own. Some weeks, we’ll take a gallery stroll to check out current Phipps exhibitions for fresh inspiration. Teens can register and join at any time during the session. Teen Art Studio is a low-cost program made possible through a generous contribution from Winkie and Bill Coyne. Additional financial support is available, please email info@thephipps.org.
