These classes infuse methods of ballet, jazz, and modern, creating an artistic, fluid style of movement that encourages self-expression. Students with prior dance background (1+ year of ballet not including preballet) will participate in a warmup, a series of across-the-floor combinations, and a culmination of choreography. The goal is to develop strong, versatile dancers.

Dress requirement: Leotard and shorts or fitted dancewear. No jeans or jean shorts. Footwear requirement: Bare feet or turners.

It explores dynamic movements and music that can be unconventional, abstract, and deeply artistic. Students will participate in a warmup, series of across–the–floor combinations, and a culmination of choreography.

    Dress requirement: athletic clothing, bare feet, socks, or turners

  • Lyrical dance is an extension of ballet technique that focuses on communicating through movement to modern music. Students will focus on developing ballet technique and storytelling through choreography that is graceful, bold, and uses emotion.
