  • Our youngest artists will enjoy a week of exploring the nature of clay and experimenting with different techniques for shaping clay into a variety of forms. Kids will use their imagination to create ceramic artwork in this fun camp! All work will be fired with food-safe glazes. Look for an email from the Phipps when the pottery is ready for pick up, approximately two weeks after camp. Closed-toed shoes must be worn in the Ceramics Studio. 

  • Step off the path and into a forest shaped by imagination! In this camp, young artists will dream up fairies, gnomes, other enchanting creatures and their habitats. What might be hiding just beyond the path? This camp is all about curiosity, world-building, and creating art that feels like it came from a secret place only you know about. 

  • Explore the fun of making pottery with pinch, slab and coil techniques—no pottery wheel needed! Learn to build cups, plates and jars and then make them super special as you decorate them with colorful underglazes. All work is fired with food-safe glazes. Look for an email from the Phipps when the pottery is ready for pick up, approximately two weeks after camp. Closed-toed shoes must be worn in the Ceramics Studio. 

  • Get your hands dirty this summer! Learn about clay and the basic techniques of throwing pottery on the wheel. Create cups and bowls and experiment with different techniques for adding finishing touches to your work. All work will be fired with food-safe glazes. Look for an email from the Phipps when the pottery is ready for pick up, approximately two weeks after camp. Closed-toed shoes must be worn in the Ceramics Studio. 

  • This week in camp, we will discover how sketching and painting work together. Kids will explore how sketching serves as a foundation for painting, experimenting with it as a key first step in the creative process. They’ll learn the basics of color mixing and try out various painting and drawing mediums and techniques to bring their ideas to life. 

  • Create cosplay props and accessories to transform yourself into your favorite character! This step-by-step camp will guide campers through the process of using everyday materials and papier mâché to help create a fabulous mask or costume accessories. Get ready to roll up your sleeves, get messy, and learn some great papier mâché sculpture techniques! 

  • Ready to enter a world where art does the talking? In this fun, hands-on graphic design camp, you’ll learn how to use art to share ideas, design cool brands, create products, and tell awesome stories. Get ready to boost your creative skills as we make colorful posters, digital drawings, cartoon characters, logos, and more. Come with ideas, leave with designs. Camp requirements: laptop, tablet or Chromebook. 

  • Be creative, together with your child this summer! Learn about clay and how to throw on the potter’s wheel side by side in the ceramic studio. Adult and child MUST register as separate students. 

  • Campers will experiment with creating characters and basic acting skills using the 

    characters and characteristics of robots & the inventors who create them. Campers will explore basic acting skills and early character development by creating robot characters and the inventors who design them. Movement, imagination play, song and visual arts combine for a week of joyful creativity. Campers will do a demonstration of what they have learned on the final day of camp. 

  • A “triple threat” performer in theatre sings, acts, and dances. Our popular Triple Threat camps focus on developing skills in all three disciplines while fostering a love of musical theatre in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. In this workshop, campers will receive instruction in singing, acting, and dance, and will perform scenes and musical numbers from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. The week culminates in a live performance for an audience. 

  • Learn the fundamentals of cinematography, storytelling, character development, and video and audio editing, then put those skills into practice by creating and filming your own original movie. This class uses the iMovie app to ensure ease of use, flexibility, and consistency. If this is unavailable for you, let us know in advance. We have limited devices for use by campers on an as-needed basis. Movies will be screened on the last day of camp. 

  • Do you have a Superhero loving kid? This dance camp will be full of them! Superheroes camp will incorporate jazz and hip hop basics for a super FUN class. On the last class dancers will get to demonstrate some of their moves for family and friends and dress up in their favorite superhero attire! Dress requirement: athletic clothing, ballet or jazz shoes recommended, but socks are ok.
