Cinderella, a Phipps ballet
July 25 - Aug 3, 2025
John H. Potter Theater
directed and choreographed by Leta Anderson
Set to the highly acclaimed soaring score by Sergei Prokofiev, Cinderella tells the story of a kind, beautiful young woman who is left with no choice but to live in her own home as a servant. Her fortune turns when the kindness she shows to a mystical beggar woman is returned. In a dreamy garden, Cinderella is enchanted by the fairies of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, and through their magic, her rags are transformed into a gown and shoes to glass slippers. While attending a royal ball, she finds herself face to face with the prince! What happens next? Love and a bit of enchantment — like in any good fairy tale, of course.
