In addition to Phipps Dance Company and original dance programming, Phipps Dance offers classes that teach dancers an art that soothes the body and the mind. We believe whether you’re age 6 months or 102...dance is for you.

You can have your child’s birthday party at the Phipps Center! We will provide 45 minutes of dance led by an instructor, followed by 45 minutes for refreshments and party time. The cost is $200 for up to 12 kids, and $10 for each additional child. A $50 deposit is required to reserve the room. To arrange a party, email info@thephipps.org, or call 715-386-2305.

Private or semi-private dance lessons are a great way to receive personalized training to meet your unique goals. Our instructors are able to offer private lessons in the styles of jazz, lyrical, tap and ballet; or they are happy to work on a variety of skills with you to advance your technique. Phipps Dance Companies
The Phipps Dance Company and the Phipps Junior Dance Company provide young dancers with the opportunity to challenge their technique and artistry on a higher level in a non-competitive setting.

This non-competitive performance-based dance company is made up of auditioned dancers in grades 9 through 12. The Company performs at a variety of events around the Twin Cities area and ends their year with an annual concert performance at the Phipps in April. This year the Company is made up of 17 dancers, and is led by Director Christina Leines and Associate Director Stephanie Campbell.

The Phipps Junior Dance company is a non-competitive, auditioned group of 11 to 13 year old dancers from the Hudson area. They rehearse weekly from September through May and perform in the Phipps Dance Company Spring Show and at a variety of local events in Hudson and the Twin Cities Metro area. The company is directed by Greta Lewis and Megan Bauer.
