Friday, October 23, 4:30 – 7 p.m. – “Open House” event in The Phipps Black Box to meet artists and view their panels; Pre-registration required

 

Saturday, November 7, 1 – 3 p.m. – Artists will participate in the Zoom panel discussion, “Art Inspired Connections: Transcending Stereotypes, Finding Commonality, and Celebrating  Differences” with artists from “Where We Are From” group exhibit in Galleries Two and Three and with artist Raghda Skeik from the Islamic Resource Group. Pre-registration required

 

December 4, 2020 – January 10, 2021 – Project 30.1 Exhibition: Ta-coumba T. Aiken, Ron Brown, Stephanie Howell, Lissa Karpeh, Liz Malanaphy, David Markson, Geno Okok, Sebastian Rivera, Thomasina Topbear and Moira Villiard This group exhibit will feature work by the ten artists involved in the community mural Project 30.1. Through their artwork, statements and bios in the exhibit, become familiar with the seven local and regional artists who were chosen to create the panels for the mural; the two artists who served as advisors on the project, Ta-coumba T. Aiken and Moira Villiard; and the lead artist on the project, Hudson resident Liz Malanaphy. Gallery Two at The Phipps.

Tuesday, October 6– Artists David Markson (in person) and Geno Okok (Face Time) met with the Faith in Action Committee of St. Patrick’s Church

 

Wednesday, October 7 – Artist Ron Brown met with Sustain Hudson members via Zoom

 

Monday, October 26 – Artist Sebastian Rivera schedule to meet with What We Need is Here artist group

 

November – Artist Ron Brown to meet virtually with Somerset High School art students
