In this two-part workshop, you will learn techniques for turning recycled paper into air dry, paper clay. Day one, we’ll go through the process of combining everyday ingredients and learn the basics of sculpting. Day two, we’ll dive deeper into building, drying processes and more advanced skills. Each student will leave with a recipe and the confidence to make paper clay on their own. Beginners are welcome, no prior clay or sculpting skills are needed.
Students are responsible for providing their own materials and supplies. The list primarily includes basic household supplies participants may have at home, as well as a small quantity of sheetrock joint compound available at building supply stores.
