Come for a dialogue with the Jewish Women Artists’ Circle. Lucy Rose Fischer, the founder and coordinator of the artists’ circle, will introduce the artists and give an overview of their history and process. The group, which was founded in 2005, has developed exhibits on a series of spiritual themes: prayer, the soul, repair of the world, and creation. The artists study with Jewish and other scholars in the community and draw inspiration from their Jewish heritage. The discussion will examine how art can be a spiritual journey, so that creating works of art can be an act of prayer.
