In an effort to reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19 for our patrons, the members of the chorus, and the members of the orchestra, The Phipps Center is postponing this performance until next season. We are sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this decision may cause.

The Phipps Choral Society was founded in 1981 by Marilyn Bradley and the late Rev. Merlin Bradley. It was formed as a community chorus dedicated to the performance of major choral-orchestral works from the oratorio genre and similar formats. It was founded as The St. Croix Valley Oratorio Society. Upon association with The Phipps Center, the name was changed to The Phipps Oratorio Society. In recent years the name was changed to reflect the broader spectrum of music being performed, while still adhering to the original purpose of rehearsing and performing great music from the classical and traditional repertoire for chorus and orchestra.
