All high school-age students from western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota are invited to submit one recent original work in any media – drawing, painting, collage, photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, or other fine crafts — in the Annual Area High School Art Exhibition.
One student will be awarded scholarship of $2,000, which will be awarded the MaryLu Brown Scholarship for the Arts. This scholarship is available to any graduating senior in 2019 who will be majoring in Art in the Fall of 2019. William and Winkie Coyne make this annual scholarship in memory of MaryLu Brown, whose life and love of art inspired many.
In addition, art teachers for the participating students are also invited to submit one piece of artwork for display in the Riverview Gallery.
