“I am fascinated by what is not said in conversations. Our Facebook/Instagram culture is about sharing perfect moments. What is it we don’t openly talk about and why? Our society has record levels of anxiety and depression. How can we begin to deal with this when everyone seems to have it all together? I asked several dozen people: What don’t you talk about? Their immediate answers ranged from body parts to political issues. My sculptures are inspired by these interviews and my own personal experiences.“
