Discover where community, art and the great outdoors come together. The Art Bench Trail consists of ten benches in ten communities created by local artists and youth in partnership with the St. Croix Valley Foundation and the National Park Service. Each bench is a unique work of art that is a beautiful, functional and visible reminder of our creative spirit. So take a seat on a masterpiece, and enjoy the view.


By establishing the Art Bench Trail, the Phipps Center for the Arts intends to build relationships in the community, foster a sense of civic responsibility, increase interest in and appreciation for the St. Croix River, and encourage each individual’s creative spirit.
