Lakefront Park, Downtown Hudson
The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau in partnership with The Phipps Center for the Arts invites you to be inspired by fine arts, live music, and fall flavors in Lakefront Park on the scenic St. Croix River. The Spirit of the St. Croix Art Festival draws thousands of visitors to experience a variety of creative talent. This year the festival offers even more art in the park, with over 90 juried artists showing their best work – glass, basketry, wood, pottery, photography, jewelry, fiber, acrylics, oil, watercolor, metal, and more – to stimulate your creative side.
Live demonstrations by participating artists include raku firing, weaving, and glass bead making. Also, everyone is encouraged to explore their creativity with a variety of free hands-on art activities. Adding to the festivities, enjoy street performers including a living statue, a juggler and a mime. Pick a few strings with strolling musician Paul Imholte, and listen to live acoustic music on two stages including performances by The Barley Jacks with Brian Wicklund, Russ King, Nici Peper, Good Time Willy and August Blues.
Pets are welcome to enjoy our Pet Check chaperoned by Angel’s Pet World. No coolers or bikes will be allowed in the park.
