Event Description

Instructor Ben Chirhart will teach students using paper to learn the “over-under” weaving pattern and how to use the color
wheel to create a blanket and a circus elephant. Learn about the art and culture of the Ho-Chunk Native Americans and
apply your weaving expertise to make your very own paper basket.

Class fee: $30

This class will be held on Mondays – Wednesdays the following weeks of Summer Art Camp:

About the Instructor:

Ben Chirhart is a licensed K-12 art educator with eight years of experience teaching art to grades K-5 and middle school students. He has a strong passion for youth engagement in the visual arts and experience in diverse artistic mediums.
