Sometimes the best way to ensure the shoe fits is to design it yourself. We may not be making shoes during this class, but we will be learning the design basics behind socks! Come and learn how to make socks that fit like a glove by creating your own pattern and enhancing it with basic designs. You will walk away from the class with the ability to make socks for any shoe size with any yarn or needles. Come to class with ideas brewing and needles ready.
Instructor Mayan Briggs began knitting 15 years ago and now has a small business selling and designing her work. Ushering students into a creative outlet with this craft and many others is a highlight of her artistic journey. She has studied art at M-CAD and Stout and has taught enrichment art classes to ages ranging from pre-school to adults for nearly 4 years.
