Event Description

Lead by instructor Deanna Grigus, students will learn functions of a basic camera to create great images while making unique
projects. Explore the history and science of photography and take photos outdoors during class. Projects can be taken home
after the group show on the last day of class.

Class Fee: $134

Required: Digital camera (point and shoot or DSLR) with empty memory card, charged battery, and manual (if you have one).

This class will be held on Monday – Friday during the following week of Summer Art Camp: 

Week 1: June 19-23 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

About the Instructor

Deanna Grigus has a B.F.A. in Art with an emphasis in photography. She creates fine art photography from her home studio and exhibits, sells, and has work in permanent collections throughout the region. Grigus has taught classes to adults and children at The Phipps for 13 years.
